"Let your mind go and your body will follow"
"Let your mind go and your body will follow." That's a line from the Steve Martin movie "LA Story." (I'm a huge fan of Steve Martin and I'm a little upset he did not invite me to his wedding last month! lol) Anyway, that line kind of reminds me what I do 
when I quilt like the pictures you see. I just 'let my mind go and my longarm will follow.' I just start and see what comes out. It's invigorating! I love what I do!

You're still stinkin' cool...and you've got mad skills! Someday I dream of having a long arm quilting machine and the ability to quilt for a living.

ReplyDeleteWe are storing a long arm quilting machine, with all the do dads that go with it, in our basement for a few weeks until our friends move into their new house. There's some pretty HEAVY stuff with all that goes with it. I think they are building their house around all her equipment and supplies. You long arm quilters are a pretty dedicated bunch!! I love it!
