Give Us A Break and Take One!

Last night my DH took me out for a much needed break. I'm still cleaning up and washing all the tablecloths I borrowed for Daughter #2's wedding. We went to a Clippers game at the Staples Center. Of course I can't even tell you who the Clippers were playing against. I do remember their uniforms were red. I don't know if the Clippers even won. Remember I was one of those ditzy cheerleaders in college who just jumped around and tried to look pretty. So last night I did the usual thing I do when my DH takes me to the Clippers or Lakers basketball games...

I took my binoculars and did some 'star gazing.' I really should be a member of the paparazzi. I'm really good a spotting stars. IMHO you see more at a Lakers game, but nonetheless, you'll still see a few at the Clippers games too.

Let's see who I found last night:

Brian Grazer, movie producer and Ron Howard's partner in Imagine Entertainment, was there with his son enjoying the game from courtside. How could you miss this guy's funky hair? He's also the executive producer of "24"...the show where Daughter #2 portrayed a 'Dead CTU'...a show I've never watched. Sorry, Mr. Grazer.

And then there was James Cromwell. Do you see him sitting in the center of this picture to the left of a blonde lady on the front row? You can tell he's very tall, even though he's sitting. I wonder if he was once a basketball player. Perhaps you recognize him from the film "Babe." I wanted to go up to him and shake his hand and say "That'll do pig!" But I lost my nerve.

And then there was Michael Smith, who my DH said was a guy who used to play basketball at BYU. I'm sure he was there years after me. He's now a commentator for the Clippers. Anyway, he's someone famous, so I had to take his picture!

And then there was Frankie Muniz, who you know as Malcolm in the Middle. He's still so cute and looks a little older now. I hope you can see him. He's wearing a red Clippers t-shirt, to the left of another guy wearing a red Clippers t-shirt. Hey, where's my red Clippers t-shirt? I forgot to get one!
And then there was this ridiculous fool jumping around. I took his picture too. Oh well, everyone wants to be a star, right?
Enough star gazing, back to quilting!
