I'm Seeing Green!

Yes, That's right! And it's a beautiful green! Thread of choice: PermaCore's "Light Lime" of course!

Isn't it fun? And speaking of GREEN...

Last month I placed an order to my brother and sister-in-law's Etsy shop for 20 of these Scrabble Tiles.
And this is what I did with them. You could wear them as a neclace but instead I did something else with them...
I needed a gift for the 20 children in our Primary organization at Church. I've been teaching singing to them for 6 years and this coming Sunday will be my last time. Boo hoo! I will miss it. (I've started teaching early morning Seminary--scripture study--to sixteen high school freshmen at 6am every day...We're studying the New Testament!..it's been great...but I feel jet-lagged all day long!)
So this is what I'm giving to my 20 little Primary children this Sunday as a 'goodbye gift'. It's a zipper charm they can put on their scripture cases. Didn't this turn out cute? What does CTR mean? It means: "Choose The Right." Hopefully, the children will remember to do that!
And speaking of SEEING...
I haven't been doing that very well lately, I'm afraid. So last week I went to the optometrist to have my prescription looked at. Yes, it's time for stronger lenses. When I went to pick out some new frames, I considered some that looked like this:
And then I considered some like Christian Siriano's ...
And then I ended up with some that look like Tina Fey's...best choice!

Now I can see much better! Yeah! Now back to work, Vivian!

I think all of the people pictured look strikingly similar. Did you happen to see the SNL opening with Tina Fey being Sarah Palin? Her impression was perfect!

It is always a pleasure to be able to see well again isn't it?
