Last Fri. my BabyBoy received his mission call. He'll be serving a mission for our Church for 2 years. He leaves July 8th. Where do you think he's going?
Here he is getting ready to open the letter that came from Salt Lake City. He was nervous, but very excited:

That's right! Land of the Kiwi's:
And land of Lord of the Rings! Yes, that's where they filmed the movies. I wonder if he'll meet any hobbits!

None of us did! Here he is with some of his friends as he's making lots of phone calls to friends and family. 
And here are his two proud parents. We are thrilled.
It's hard to believe. My BabyBoy will going out to serve the Lord for two years. Now there's lots to do to get ready. July 8th will be here before we know it!

Having a missionary out brings many, many blessings! My oldest served in Brazil, & my youngest will be sending off his papers a year from now. Congratulations & good luck in the coming months as you prepare for July 8th!

I'm so excited for Todd. My bags are packed & ready to go with him. Guess, I should update my passport. I've got a gift coming for Todd to welcome him to the Land of the Long White Cloud.
We are so excited for him and for for you. Now, if only my son could get a call there in a little over a year...you know how that story would end...

Congrats to your son and your whole family! New Zealand is awesome! I had 2 brothers serve their missions there...one in Auckland and the other in Christchurch. I know someone else that is on pins and needle right now waiting for a mission call: that would be me and my husband! maybe next week we'll get our good news!
We are so excited for Todd!!! He's going to be a GREAT missionary! We just love the kid! Tell him congrats from us! Also, that's a great picture of the two of you. Sure do miss you guys and couldn't be more thrilled!
