Did Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow?
and a shadow beside me.
Six more weeks of winter it will be!"
(Ok, it's just the Purse Dog in disguise! Did she fool you?)
Don't forget to watch "Groundhog Day" today! You know I will! Notice the lovely quilt Bill Murray is sleeping under? You see it every morning he wakes up on Groundhog Day!
Great flick!
One more thing...
Here's a picture of a prize to send and a prize received.
The prize to send: Poor Beth, winner of my Blogiversary giveaway is finally getting her fleece blanket. (sorry, it was a little more costly than I had anticipated to send a package to Australia...but it's on it's way!)
The prize received: I won a beautiful postcard made by Summerset Banks (don't you love that name?) at her blog Pins and Needles. She was a winner at Road to California for her beautiful embellished garments.... Such a talented artist! Go visit her website!

Boy, I REALLY wanted to watch Ground Hog Day this year but just didn't have the time. I love that movie! I remember when someone in Australia won your giveaway -- the thought whoa! that will be a whopping mail bill. I got caught by that surprise too -- you see everyone mailing here and there and I thought it wouldn't be a big deal. I have a little package I want to mail to AU and my youngest will be going there in a few weeks, so I'm sending it with him to mail when he gets there! ;-)
Nice to see the card! Thanks for linking to me!
I bought myself a dvd of Groundhog Day from the sale rack last year. I still laugh even though I've seen it so many times. I saw an interview with Bill Murray-he said the groundhog bit him when they were in the truck.
Did you see my friend Dorothy's entry for Feb 2? She's a scream.

I watched Ground Hog Day too! You know...as grumpy as Phil Conners is throughout the movie.... I LOVE HIS SARCASM. I laugh at everything and I would rather have Phil Conners sarcastic and rude than Phil Conners nice guy. Hahaha, I guess I miss the point of the whole movie huh? Oh well! When you visit Britney this week at UCLA, give her my wishes!
