Here's
another darling teacher quilt made by my friend Lisa. Each child placed their handprint in grey paint on white muslin and Lisa turned each one into a "Horton."

Each "clover" was made of a print of the child's pinky finger.

The reason this quilt will be so special to the teacher is because they read the
Dr. Seuss classic, "Horton Hears A Who" together as a class and....

they also took a class field trip to see
the movie when it was playing at a theater in town.

Lisa ended up with spare blocks and so she created some images of the "Horton" to add into the quilt and she had each child sign their name on a block too. It is one of the most creative quilts I have seen. Lisa amazed me once again!
And "Who" quilted that quilt? Me, of course!
