I recently ordered these vinyl letters. I put them up myself. Well, acutally with the help of my son and hubby. I was so proud of us. My friends always pay someone to do this in their homes. But it really wasn't rocket science. Pretty easy.
This is one of those saying my kids have heard for years from their dad... Everytime they would leave to go out at night, he would remind them of that motto. I think it's a good motto to live by. And our 3 three children, all grown and gone, turned out just fine. Maybe that motto actually sank in!
Here are some pretty pictures we had done when our family was all together last month.
We had them taken at the Balboa Fun Zone in Newport Beach, by Lillie B Photography. I love them. It was the last time my entire family will be all together for the next 2 years.
When it comes to quilting, my motto would be...Remember to do a good job, or else!

Welcome Back!
Love the new quilt in your header...very patriotic for July.
Your motto is one I should strive for, too. I'm too easily swayed sometimes.
Look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work on the quilt you need to get busy on.
The quilting on that quilt is amazing. Thanks for showing it.
Lovely lovely quilting (as always).
Do you have an url for a source for the letters?
Hi there--one site you can check out is Vinyl Wall Expressions at http://vinylwallexpressions.com. FYI, I run their website and they're offering free shipping right now...
Wherever you get the lettering, though, it is amazing what you can do and I love this idea! That is also some great photography by http://lilliebphotography.com/
Gorgeous quilting. You are very talented.
Great family photos. That two years will go so quickly....
Love the headers (on your blog and door)!! I have one above my door that says, " Be true to who you are and the family name you bear." ~Gordon B. Hinckley
Beautiful quilt!
fabulous words to live by and a great reminder to young people who are leaving the house.
The quilt is beautiful Vivian.
I thought of you the other day in sacrament because they announced "The Empty Nester's Luncheon" at someone's house. I thought of my dear favorite Aunt Viv who is now officially an "empty nester". Well not officially....you have the Purse Dog :) And the reality series sounds great for you guys. Come on, we need some people more interesting to talk about than dumb Jon and Kate.
I had a roommate, who was known for her jokes, that would always say, "Remember who you are...but don't let it get you down." :o)
Beautiful words to live by.
Your quilting is amazing!!
I love it when you show us one of the quilts you are working on.
