Here's another shot, with flash:
And here it is without flash:What do you think of this one? It's with natural light, no flash. I think it came out best.
Speaking of a different light...
The other night my BabyBoy took these pictures of the sunflowers growing in our vegetable garden. I had taken pictures of them during the afternoon, but look how great they look at night!
And speaking of a different light, one more time! The first time I had seen the late actor Heath Ledger was in the movie, "Ten Things I Hate About You." (go rent it sometime!) Below is a picture of my favorite scene.
And now you'll see him different light in the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Daughter #2 wrote an excellent review of the film, which she and her Sweetheart saw last night at midnight. Read her review here: The Dark Knight. I'm going to try and see it next week...maybe the lines won't be as long.

And finally, keeping up with my lighting theme...What's this? Is it just bad lighting?

I've been meaning to comment for awhile--your quilting is absolutely exquisite! Thanks so much for posting the beautiful photos. Your blog is one of my favorites. I'm new to blogging and am having a great time with it!
I know nothing about photography, but the photos taken without a flash definitely show up the quilting a lot better. Gorgeous work BTW!
This is my first time here and, boy, do I see a gorgeous quilt, fatastic photos and, yes, the shots without flash are the best by far. Thank you for showing us such beautiful work!

Love your quilting. Thanks for all of the pictures.
The quilt looks fabulous! I always take photos of finished quilts with just the afternoon light and no flash. It really brings out the definition the stitches give.
