Would "Special K Bars" be considered diet food? After all, they have Special K cereal in them!
Ok, maybe they'd be part of the "Things-That-Taste-Great-And-I-Don't-Care-How-Many-Calories-Are-In-Them Diet"!
Try this recipe sometime:
Bring 1 cup sugar, with 1 cup light corn syrup to a boil...
Then turn off the flame and add 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter...I use chunky! Stir until well-blended.
The Purse Dog thinks something smells good. Will she get any? She hopes so. But I think it's best to make her stick to a diet of Iams and dog biscuits!
Next pour the mixture over 6 cups of Special K cereal...
Stir until the mixture coats all of the cereal. Then spread into an ungreased pan...
Let it cool down. And while it's cooling down, make the topping. Heat 1 cup butterscotch chips with 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. Use a double boiler or just watch it very carefully in a regular saucepan. Just don't let it burn...or you'll be sorry!

Thanks for the recipe!
The elephant is adorable, and that soft polka-dot is wonderful!
Happy stitchings!
Hi Vivian,
Sweet treat and sweet elephant! Both are yummy. I really admire the quilt in the last post as well. You do such beautiful work.
Depends on what kind of diet you're on! Both look great!
This is a perfect time of year for a yummy treat. I'll have to try it. Cute cute quilt too.

This food looks yummy with all the nutritional requirements, of course… it's a diet food.
