Would "Special K Bars" be considered diet food? After all, they have Special K cereal in them!
Ok, maybe they'd be part of the "Things-That-Taste-Great-And-I-Don't-Care-How-Many-Calories-Are-In-Them Diet"!
Try this recipe sometime:

Bring 1 cup sugar, with 1 cup light corn syrup to a boil...

Then turn off the flame and add 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter...I use chunky! Stir until well-blended.

The Purse Dog thinks something smells good. Will she get any? She hopes so. But I think it's best to make her stick to a diet of
Iams and dog biscuits!
Next pour the mixture over 6 cups of Special K cereal...

Stir until the mixture coats all of the cereal. Then spread into an ungreased pan...

Let it cool down. And while it's cooling down, make the topping. Heat 1 cup butterscotch chips with 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. Use a double boiler or just watch it very carefully in a regular saucepan. Just
don't let it burn...or you'll be sorry!

Spread the topping over the Special K bars...

Cut into squares and Enjoy! I know they look a little messy, but trust me, they are yummy!

If you eat a lot of these bars, you may end up being as big as an...
Yes, that's right...an elephant.
Check out this cute baby quilt I just finished. The backing is a beautful brown and light blue polka-dot Minkie fabric. So cute. I kept the quilting light, as per instructions of the grandma. She wanted it lightly quilted to stay nice and soft and cuddly.

Hope you're having a nice weekend!

Hi Vivian,
Sweet treat and sweet elephant! Both are yummy. I really admire the quilt in the last post as well. You do such beautiful work.
Depends on what kind of diet you're on! Both look great!

This food looks yummy with all the nutritional requirements, of course… it's a diet food.
