The LA "field trip" adventure must take a back seat today. Why? Because Daughter #2 turns 21! Is it a National Holiday? Well it should be!
Daughter #2 worked on the movie "Spiderman 3." In one scene she was first placed sitting next to Tobey Maguire in a theater. In the movie it was to be Broadway theater and "MJ" was singing on stage. Movie magic: Kirsten Dunst's voice was dubbed in and the theater was an old one in Los Angeles. Well, Daughter #2 was too tall to be sitting next to Tobey Maguire and so they put her behind him. You can see her if you don't blink as the camera pans right. Then they cut to a shot of "Harry Osbourne" looking down at "Peter Parker." Who is James Franco really looking at? In order to make the shot look best, James Franco was actually using Daughter #2 as his 'focal point.' The angle was better. He's looking right at Daughter #2. They fell in love. Ok, it was only for a few seconds, but it was true love! ;-)
At an early age whenever Daughter #2 saw a camera, she was ready to pose.
"All right Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close up!"
How's this one? Even with a broken leg, she still managed to break out a smile!
Here's one with her Mom. Where's the camera?
In high school, you would find Daughter #2 on stage with Comedy Sportz or whatever production the theater department was putting on.
She has that "presence" on stage. I remember the first time I watched her perform. I got chills.
She is also an excellent writer. She wrote an awesome one-act play that won an award and was produced at The Theatre of Note in Los Angeles. She was only 16 at the time. I got to go with her back and forth to auditions, rehearsals, and performances. An awesome experience!
I am truly amazed at her talent. I'm her #1 Fan...can you tell? She's had so many adventures in her 21 years and as her mom, I've been lucky enough to be with her on many of those adventures!
Eating lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel!
Such a beautiful place. I highly recommend it on any visit to Los Angeles!
Desperate Housewives...(she's there in the driver's seat.)
Mrs. Harris (filmed at the Wilshire Ebelle theatre.)
Cold Case....
...just to name a few.
Probably our most memorable adventure was when we went to New York together a few years ago. Never a normal pose...
Here we are on top of the Empire State building...
In Time Square...(I call this picture her "Happy Place.")
Now Daughter #2 is on her biggest adventure, that of being a married woman! Here she is pictured with her Sweetheart.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAUGHTER #2,
Now here's a story about Daughter #2 that I swear is true. You must trust me on this!
