Ok, so according to that quote I am not very wise! Every morning I get my 'daily dose' of nonsense. Yes it's true. It really is nonsense. I read my horoscope and then I check this silly website called "I'm Not Obsessed." I think by calling it by that name makes me more obsessed. I had a professor in college call this sort of stuff "mind candy." And that is what this website is for me. It's my daily dose of Hollywood nonsense. Check it out sometime.
My daughter Julie is home from Utah this weekend for her bridal shower. The house is buzzing and it's crazy around here. She is very happy and excited for her upcoming wedding. She brought three of her girlfriends down with her. Today they are at the

I live in earthquake country and I can handle it. But I'm scared to death of tornados! I will be at the Machine Quilters Showcase in Overland Park. I will be working at the Cranberry Quiltworks booth helping my friend Gina Halladay sell thread and supplies. I'm so excited to go! I am looking forward to seeing lots of beautiful quilts and visiting with my quilting friends.

I went to your link where you tell about Julie living in a log cabin in Utah. I would love that if I were young again! My g-grandma raised 10 children in a little log cabin smack-dab in the middle of Utah. The cabin is still there -- it's opened once a year in the summer when they have a big family reunion on the lawn of the cabin. I love to visit it every time I go back to Utah. Congratulations to your little Julie!
Oh Kansas!!! I believe it's the state that never ends. Yes we've been told it's tornado season... However, I think you're safe this week. We are looking forward to Julie's wedding...can't wait to see you guys! Gotta go check my horoscope...I'll check in later. Love ya!
